Play is the Medicine Man
howies: "You're not designed for office life.
You're not designed to just sit there.
You're a hunter-gatherer, dammit.
That urge to get out there goes back a long way.
You need to feel the four winds.
To tell stories around a shared camp-fire.
To see the stars that will be famous for more than 15 minutes.
To leave the hubbub, humdrum and hoo-ha behind.
To listen to the stream trickle on its way.
To go to places 4x4's only get to in TV commercials.
To put some distance between you and your work.
To forget everything for a while.
To make some molehills out of mountains.
Play is best when not done to a deadline,
nor does it require a finish line.
Play is a multivitamin. Play is a de-tox. Play is head yoga.
Play is the natural enemy of stress.
Play is good. Play is great. Play is brilliant.
Play is splashing in puddles, climbing mountains,
and riding across them.
Play is juvenile, pointless and dumb.
And frankly, all the better for it.
Work is complicated. Play is simple.
Summer's coming. Go play."
Miss you Aber

Iced T and AVP
Iced tea, both Lemon and Peach, Alien Versus Predator, and pick and mix, what an afternoon! It must be said, Lemon Iced Tea is superior, but by such a close margin its hard to be sure, and i know Charlie doesn't agree for starts.
Anhoo, how random was that.
The next plan, while intigrating the genius chocolate, honeycomb/raisins idea
would be to go and see Willy Wonka!
Kerplow!!!
As for the genius idea, of combining Choclate hone comb pieces, and chocolate raisins, how about adding a small portion of chocolate coffee beans to the mix! I think im going to need to patent this. Cant wait

The Dark Side Beckons
I have been wathcing the dreaded tour.
and have concluded i need a roadie bike too.
My original plan was to retire from XC into Roadie (less bumps n grinds), but if i can afford it, why not go for the fitness and finnesse side of it. Its a completly different ball game. Roadie is to XC as Sculling is to Rugby, and as im missing rowing, roadie mite be the way forward. super light, super slim, (super smooth ;-) )
Maybe ill follow inteh footsteps of The Smail (Roadie Rob), and buy me a relativly weighty second hand rig, to get me into the club in Aber, then see how it goes.
its all cash dependant sadly :(
Shizzle my Nizzle
What a pleasent afternoon it has been, and how much entertainment can be gained by ading 'izzle' to any word or
letter.
For instance:
hizzle nizzle to the tizzle double dizzle, on televizzle, special edition D-V-dizzle, Having a BB-quizzle, making
a fizzle and a sizzle. For rizzle my nizzle!
or alternativly
Hannah Todd, on tv, on a special edition dvd, having a BBQ, making sizzling noizes. Definatly my afro-american
friend!
Well it kept us entertained for hours. and its part of my human rights to say what ii want damn it! (as its
independance day). Anyhoo, we finaly indulged int eh heaviest pick and mix ever, which formulates a master plan,
1 P&M cup, full of nothing but chocolate raisins and chocolate covered honey comb pieces, mixed upwhile watching an
ace film, for instance, AVP. genius, we thought.
